As you may know, Mike Church has partnered with this effort to “Redefine the Role of Government” and this article he’s written is an absolute must read. Mike writes in an email to me: “It has been argued of late that should certain Southern States decide to do what the People therein believe is needed to reclaim their liberties that they should be allowed to perform the Act so the world may behold the spectacle of the resulting impoverishment. This claim is made by the Southern states “friends” in Northeastern, Northern and Western States who have benighted themselves as “debtor” states to the aforementioned South. That this state of affairs is not equally loathed by The People all states living under the Constitution is a symptom of our dystopia.”

As the national government and its nationalist supporters (big government types in both parties, DC based Think Tanks, and mainstream talk radio) begin sensing the uprising that is emerging, they will use tools like the idea that the States cannot make it on their own as a way to scare us into timidity! Balderdash!!!

Here’s the dirty little immoral secret…the only reason we’re making it now under this system of redistributionist government is because of borrowed money from your children and grandchildren. How moral is that! Want evidence?

See any problem with these charts? Federal spending ALWAYS outpaces federal revenue. Guess where the difference between the two numbers comes from? Not you and me…nope, it’s borrowed money.
