On one hand it’s almost pathetically laughable. On the other hand, it is a reminder that there are individuals who see government not as the defender of liberty, but as the mechanism to minimize and ultimately destroy it.

In what can only be described as typical knee jerk liberal statist fashion, Florida state senator Audrey Gibson and Florida state representative Perry Thurston have filed bills requiring mandatory anger management class certification prior to the purchase of  ammunition.

anger

This is surely one of the most egregious attempts at infringing on the right to keep and bear arms and ranks right up there with registration and banning.

These bills go on to legislate “Records of firearm handgun sales must be available for  inspection by any law enforcement agency, as defined in s.  934.02, during normal business hours.”

The bills are available below for your review. Please contact your state senator and state representative and demand these bills be put to death at the first available opportunity. Reason would allow that committee chairmen will not allow these bills to see the light of day. We cannot however take anything for granted.
